Privacy Policy

The short version

AquaPace has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. What you log stays on your iPhone, your Apple Watch and — if you turn it on — in Apple Health. We don't run servers that receive your data.

What stays on your device

Your profile (sex, year of birth, height, weight, activity level, wake and sleep times), the drinks you log, your cups and your reminder settings are stored in an app container on your iPhone, shared only with AquaPace's own widgets and Apple Watch app.

Deleting the app deletes this data. With Pro you can also export your drinks as a CSV file.

Apple Health

If you allow it, AquaPace writes the water, caffeine, sugar and calories from your drinks to Apple Health, and reads your height, weight, workouts, steps, active energy, sleep, resting heart rate and water that other apps saved. This is used only on your device to set your goal and show Health insights.

Health data is never used for advertising, never sold, never shared with third parties and never stored in iCloud by AquaPace. You can change access at any time in the Health app.

Location and weather

If you allow it, AquaPace uses your approximate location to get today's temperature from Apple Weather. The location is not stored by AquaPace and is not sent anywhere else.

Apple Intelligence

Daily plans are written by Apple's on-device model. Long-term reports and weekly reviews may use Apple's Private Cloud Compute on iOS 27: only aggregated numbers (such as average daily water or average sleep) are sent, Apple processes them on Apple silicon servers and does not keep them. The first report starts only after you tap to create it.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. We receive no payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to the App Store.

Children

AquaPace is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
